Grand Geneva Say “I Do” Photo Contest – Nick & Teri – A Match Made at Grand Geneva

30 Jul, 2010

Nick and Teri were married at the Grand Geneva Resort on October 11, 2008. They not only were married at Grand Geneva, their special day was a culmination of decades of memories shared with family and friends at the resort.

Here is their story and photo submission for the Grand Geneva Say “I Do” Photo Contest.

Saying “I do” while overlooking the 18th hole at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa was more than a celebration of becoming husband and wife – it was a culmination of decades of memories shared with family and friends at the ski resort, golf course, spa, water park, restaurants and hotel lodge. My father taught me how to ski at the age of 2, and little did I know that I would meet the love of my life at the very same place (teaching him how to snowboard) many years later. Following the winter season, we had several dates at Grand Geneva’s golf courses, and my husband turned me into a golf fanatic. Over the years, we knew that this would be a perfect location for our wedding!

The setting for the outdoor ceremony was more beautiful than anyone could imagine, and the reception inside the resort was amazing.  Everything about it was perfect – the exquisite dinner, the luxurious venue and the professional and attentive staff.  We received so many compliments and rave reviews about Grand Geneva from our wedding guests.  It’s nice to know it was such a special occasion for not only the bride and groom, but for so many others, too!  There is no other place that means more to us than Grand Geneva, so spending our anniversary there would be unbelievable – and with our first child on the way, we now look forward to more Grand Geneva memories with the next generation…
