Michael and Erica were married at the Grand Geneva Resort on March 7, 2009.

Here is their story and photo submission for the Grand Geneva Say “I Do” Photo Contest.

Michael and I celebrated our marriage in “grand” style on March 7, 2009. Despite the rain drops, which I am convinced were simply tears of joy from our loved ones in heaven, our day was beautiful and everything I ever dreamed it would be.

We chose the Grand knowing we would not be disappointed in the service. We had around 250 guests who had nothing but positive comments about their night.

I would love to share our anniversary at the Grand because even though our life began prior to March 7th we sure celebrated our marriage with nothing but the best. Plus I’d love to surprise my husband for our anniversary ~ we celebrated our 1st anniversary there too but only for brunch as I was 9 months pregnant!

This picture is one of my favorites from our day. We surprised our guests by breaking out in full dance to get the party started and make sure everyone was ready for a night of family, friends, fun and a whole lot of dancing!
