Michael and Erica were married at the Grand Geneva Resort on October 6, 2007.

Here is their story and photo submission for the Grand Geneva Say “I Do” Photo Contest.

We would love to continue celebrating our wedding anniversary at the Grand Geneva.  Our wedding united us during a very stressful time in our lives, living states away from one another and since then we have lived in three different states.  Looking at our wedding photos to choose for this contest was very difficult with many choices, and brought back wonderful memories.  The day we got married I believe we had record temperatures, right around 90 degrees in October.  Since our wedding in October 2007, we get compliments to this day and many stories are still talked about.  The Grand Geneva was so great in working with and hosting our wedding weekend.  I even recommended the Grand Geneva to a friend which then had her wedding there last October.  When I see “fairy tale” weddings in the movies, that is what we had.  The weather was amazing, the service fantastic, our wonderful florist (Joseph’s in Libertyville, IL) and a great photographer.  Thank you Grand Geneva for creating such amazing memories of our special day. We couldn’t have had a better day, and it could not have been done without the Grand Geneva.
