Autumn at Grand Geneva

02 Sep, 2010

So long August. September has arrived and fall is fast approaching.

One of our favorite parts about the midwest is the variety of season. Each quarter of the year is different than the rest and provided unique experiences.

Now, we love the different experiences offered at Grand Geneva for the Fall, but we decided to ask our Facebook fans to let us know what they enjoyed.

Here are a few of their favorites.

Emma Price: Walking the Nature Trail past the White River Villas. The smell of the crisp Fall air combined with the crunch of the leaves beneath my feet you can not beat that

Leslie Nowicki: The beautiful colors abundant in rich oranges and deep reds on your property and the fact that it can be viewed so beautifully while dining there. it is a great place to celebrate anniversaries at that time of year.

Barbara Wells: I enjoy the fall colors and I love to drive through to see all the trees changing. It is so relaxing and beautiful! It also reminds me that Halloween Haunted Hay Ride is approaching and I Love a great Haunted Hay Ride, especially at Grand Geneva!

Aaron Vitkus: Golfing on the beautiful golf courses in the crisp fall air with the surrounding color changes on the trees!

Shannon Fischer: Driving down the lane and seeing how beautiful all the trees look as they change colors.

Melissa Rubik: Being able to take in the beautiful fall colors while knowing that, thanks to the waterpark at Timber Ridge, the summer doesn’t really have to end.

Tammy Rose: Hands down the hayride/haunted hayride and bonfire at the stables. It’s a family tradition for us to stay at the Grand Geneva or Timber Ridge the last weekend of October and do the hayride, bonfire and horseback riding.

Stricker Houndour: The rich fall colors that decorate the perimeter of the beautiful golf course while playing a round. And then taking some time to walk the Nature trail while your eyes are absorbing the gorgeous landscaping.

Brooklyn Yunker: Sitting next to the fireplace, an then sitting by the piano all night listening to music with coctails while people walking by assume you are on vacation. It’s like the perfect little date night that most locals don’t think of doing. haha 🙂 Shhhh our secret!

What is your favorite experience? What would you add to the list?
