On Wednesday, January 26, 2011, John Leinenkugel will be hosting his second Beer Dinner at Geneva ChopHouse at Grand Geneva, pairing great food and great beer.
Join John, a fifth-generation Brewer, and other beer enthusiasts for five scrumptious courses along with six different beer pairings.
Reception at 6pm followed by Dinner at 7pm. Cost is $75 per person.

Santa Barbara Prawns Stuffed with Peekytoe Crab Sashimi, Soy Bean Puree and Meyer Lemon Drizzle
This appetizer sets the tone for a festive occasion. Tasty jumbo prawns and sweet peekytoe crab meat pair brilliantly with the light and crisp Leiniekugel’s Honey Weiss.
Chestnut Soup, Duck Liver and Mulard Duck Confit
Rustic, decadent and delicious, this duck and chestnut soup is ideal for the season and pairs perfectly with the handcrafted Leinenkugel’s Limited beer.
Dolci Gorgonzola Cracker with Lingonberry and Rosemary Sorbet
With a rich, salty and savory cracker and a sweet frozen sorbet, the only harmonious complement is Leinenkugel’s legendary Berry Weiss.
Lamb two ways: Osso Buco and Roasted Loin of Lamb Horseradish Root Vegetable Puree
As if one weren’t enough, this duo of lamb is a rare treat. Wash it down with the 100% all-malt masterpiece from Leinie: the Classic Amber.
Baked Valrhona Chocolate Rum Raisin Pudding with Mascarpone Stout Sauce
Valrhona is considered by chefs around the world to be one the finest chocolates. This pudding and mascarpone stout sauce are wonderfully accompanied by the Leinenkugel’s Big Eddy Russian Imperial Stout.
