Being the Activities Coordinator at Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark, Billie Jean is full of fun arts and crafts ideas. Follow along each month as Billie Jean show you some of her favorite recipes for guaranteed fun!
SIDEWALK CHALK:
Supplies: Newspaper, Plaster of Paris, Water, Powdered Tempera Paint, small mixing bowl, small (3-4oz) Dixie cups
Cover work space with newspaper
In medium mixing bowl mix 1 cup Plaster of Paris with ¾ cup water
Stir until well blended
Add 3-4 tablespoons of powdered tempera paint, stir until well blended.
Pour mixture into dixie cups (fill cups about ¾ full) (Each color of mixture will give you 3-4 cups of chalk)
Let mixture set for 1-2 hours, then peel off the dixie cup & enjoy the fun!!
**rinse mixing bowl out right away so any mixture left does not harden permanently in bowl**
