It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
04 Dec, 2015
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around the resort, we just need a little more snow to complete the look and so ski can open soon too! Snow, or no snow, Christmas in the Country is in full swing. This year there are all new decorations themed “A Magical Winter Wonderland.”
The magic is everywhere, from polar bears to snowy penguins. Share in our brand new decor with our Amazing Winter Wonderland photo stations or the giant gingerbread house. Take your Twitter or Instagram photos throughout the resort with the hashtag #MagicalGGChristmas to join in on the conversation and see your photo displayed on the lobby social media feed.
Even though we don’t have snow right now, we did for the 21st Illumination Ceremony. It was the official kick off of Christmas in the Country. Thousands of people came out, watch the Illumination Lighting below!
Not only were there fireworks, Christmas music was everywhere. Carolers sang in the lobby and the Evergreen Ballroom, while a local high school band played in the Maple Lawn Ballroom. Holiday cheer was everywhere, kids enjoyed decorating cookies, visiting Santa, and talking with the elves. See more photos from the Illumination Ceremony in our Facebook album.
The fun continues during this holiday season with Christmas in the Country!
